Opening Postponed until August 24th

Dear Students, Parents, and Faculty of Indian River Charter High School,

Today, the superintendent announced that schools in Indian River County will postpone their opening until August 24th.  Many students at our school have younger siblings at traditional public schools in the district, and many of our faculty have children enrolled at traditional public schools as well.  To accommodate their schedules, and to address this pandemic as a community, IRCHS will also postpone our opening until August 24th.  We know that students are anxious to get back to their classmates and teachers, and we cannot wait to resume learning at our wonderful school.  Student orientation will now be held on August 21st.  A ‘Beginning of the Year Parent Letter’ with revised dates and the Reopening Plan are attached to this message.

Please read through those and contact us with any questions.
